This Privacy Policy details how we handle subscriber data, network traffic data, and administrative records collected through the Netwall BNG management system, in compliance with the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023.
1. Information We Collect
Netwall BNG processes the following categories of information for network operations and compliance purposes:
- Subscriber Registration Data: Name, address, phone number, email, and ID proofs.
- Network Session Logs: PPPoE/IPoE login timestamps, MAC addresses, allocated IP addresses (IPv4/IPv6), and data usage volumes.
- Lawful Intercept & NetFlow Data: Source/destination IPs, ports, protocols, and transaction volumes as required by Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and TRAI guidelines.
2. Purposes of Processing
Data collected is processed strictly to:
- Provide BNG access, authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA).
- Generate billing statements, usage records, and invoices.
- Fulfill legal requirements under the Indian Telegraph Act, IT Act, and TRAI regulatory compliance standards.
3. Cookies & Local Storage
The Netwall BNG admin, customer, and partner portals utilize essential cookies and browser local storage strictly to maintain active user login sessions, security tokens, and theme preferences. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
4. Data Retention
Subscriber identity records are maintained for the active duration of the contract plus statutory limits. Operational logs, including IP allocations and AAA records, are retained for a minimum of one (1) year in compliance with national security guidelines or as specified by DoT licensing rules.
